The internet was supposed to have killed off the traditional high
street travel agent, so Roz Webster and Sophie Hibbert’s decision to
set up a business organising upmarket holidays might seem to be a
highly risky venture.
They believe they have proved their critics
wrong, generating more than £1m of business in their first year and a
small profit. However, turnover is a vanity, especially when most of
this is paid direct to the holiday providers.
Athena member Roz Webster actively promotes Cream Travel through our organisation. Her membership cost £200 (she joined at a launch meeting current membership is £235) and Roz has said that it has brought in about £40,000 of
business to Cream Travel since the beginning of the year.

Inspiring article and great to see Athena promoted widely by women clearly making a great success of it. I hope that you are able to weather the downturn as I love your concept. Stick with it! Helen
To get the results that you have - not only in your first year but also in a recession - shows that if you can continue to weather the economic downturn you are all set for amazing growth when the upturn finally comes.
It just shows how following a dream can completely override all the negativity.
Well done. Debbie
