I came to London in 1992 and re-trained as a healer and massage therapist. I have work at the Hale Clinic, just south of Regent’s Park, holding one-to-one sessions as well as running workshops internationally.
After 9/11, I thought that I would put my occupation where my heart was and in 2003 I was ordained as an Interfaith Minister and spiritual counsellor. All ceremonies draw largely on spirituality rather than religion and are custom-designed for each occasion.
On 9 June, 2006, I was introduced to the Queen in one of my treatment rooms when she was on her eightieth birthday tour. I was disappointed that I passed the police check. Almost 50 and never been arrested – but there is still time.
