More Information |
I have been self-employed for most of my working life. I spent 35 years working in IT. Four years ago I had a brilliant idea to start ballroom and latin dance classes where everyone was guaranteed a partner who can dance. This was just a means to an end so that I could finally have a partner and learn. However, this very simple concept has started me off on a journey into the dance world. I have now established several weekly courses in Central London. We are now planning to branch out to Richmond, Chiswick, Hampstead and Heathrow. I run the famous Tango Teas at the Waldorf Hotel every two months.
Simply Dancing Partners run dance parties, dance lessons for wedding couples, team building events and parties for corporates all centred around dance.
Our latest venture is to start Argentine Tango classes in our signature style with guaranteed partners. I went with my sister to Buenos Aires to learn the basics of this fabulous dance and can't wait to get started over here as it is very popular and will introduce me to a whole new community.
Dancing has now taken over as my main occupation and I am having the time of my life. It is definitely keeping me young as I am surrounded by vibrant and interesting people.
I will soon be franchising the classes throughout the UK and am looking for more people like me to run them.
