I’m a freelance marketing specialist working with small and medium sized companies, mainly but not exclusively in the technology sector. I work on ad hoc projects or act as my clients’ part-time marketing manager; planning, running campaigns and copy writing for every kind of communication.
Good marketing gets businesses closer to their target prospects and customers. I help identify the best ways to reach the right people, and create powerful copy that hits the spot. Ultimately that means opening the doors to more business – more customers, higher order values, more repeat business and increased revenue.
I run workshops to help companies get to grips with what they’re really selling and how to promote it; I give talks to business organisations on common marketing mistakes and how to avoid them; and I publish a free e-newsletter which contains valuable nuggets of ‘marketing gold’. |

More Information |
I have worked in sales and in marketing for 25 years. I'm also a qualified business and personal coach. Whilst I don't practice as such, I find I use these skills widely in meetings, talks and workshops.
I've been running my own business for 7 years and am in the process of developing an offering directed towards young and new businesses and people contemplating setting up in business for themselves. That I'm doing this now, 7 years since I started working solo is no coincidence - I believe firmly in the concept of life being a series of 7-year cycles, with big shifts and changes taking place at those pivotal 7-year moments.
Apart from working full-time, my other roles in life include being a daughter, big-sister, auntie to two adorable 4 year-old twin boys and friend to some very special people. In my spare time I'm a keen paper-crafter and I practice Pilates, something which has proved a real 'life-saver'. |
